How Does Weather Affect Our World?  A Look Into Culture Through Travel Guides

       Our class spent several days learning about weather, seasonal patterns, and how weather affects our world.  We researched different countries in order to find out more about how weather affects culture, travel plans, and tourism.  Our group researched Ecuador, a country in South America that is very popular for tourists.  We learned many interesting things about Ecuador's culture, geography, weather, and tourist attractions.

      After we created our travel guides, we had a "Travel Fair" to share what we learned with the other students in our class.  We gave students information about where to travel, when to travel, and what to pack.  We pretended to be travel agents.  I liked this project because it helped us learn about how weather is different across the world.  It also helped us to make decisions about where we want to travel.
